The Pebble House Bed & Breakfast Inn is located in Lakeside, in the southwest corner of Michigan, 80 miles from downtown Chicago, in the area known as Harbor Country.
The innkeepers delight in the variety of guests who visit the inn, whether to enjoy Lake Michigan just across the road or to revel in the Arts and Crafts atmosphere of The Pebble House.
| The Pebble House, constructed in 1912, has three guest rooms on the 2nd floor and a studio suite on the main floor. It is faced with local river rock, and has a prairie school look. A new screen house has been built for the pleasure of guests wishing to curl up in a hammock or just relax near the pond. Guests gather in the dining room for breakfast. In the afternoon you will find a plate of famous cookies for all to enjoy. As evening approaches, guests gather by the crackling fire to read or enjoy a glass of wine and relax!
All guest rooms and public rooms are furnished in the Arts & Crafts style also known as mission oak, whether it be antiques or Modern Arts & Crafts furnishings. Mid-June through Mid-September, The Pebble House does not operate as a Bed & Breakfast, but is available for weekly rental! A wonderful opportunity for reunions or family gatherings!
